Habitat

The natural habitat of the Blyth’s Hornbill consists of tropical forest habitats. It lives in Wallacea and from New Guinea to the Solomon Islands.

Appearance

The Blyth’s Hornbill belongs to the family of hornbills. The bird has a size of 76 to 91 centimeters. Both males and females are black with a pale white bill and a white tail.

Males and immature birds have a white neck that gradually changes to a honey-colored hue. In females, both the neck and head turn black.
